Signal sprint
Anchor scanning on one real dependency, log and cluster signals together, and agree who owns the emerging risk theme.

AboutForesight Policies turns the methods of the world's leading government foresight units into a free tool anyone can use in a browser, and into facilitated sessions for teams that want to go further.
The main obstacle to future-proof policy is no longer a shortage of methods. It is that foresight stays an occasional, academic exercise, cut off from budgets, impact assessments and evaluation, and so it is reabsorbed by short-term pressure.
Introductory primers are accessible but shallow. Specialist scenario software is rigorous but needs training that busy civil servants rarely get. Foresight Policies sits in between: real methods, explained plainly, with a worked example and outputs you can put in a memo, a call for evidence or an impact assessment.
The wind-tunnel, the methods guide and the readiness check are free to use, with no account.
Your work stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you export or email it yourself.
Every score has a visible formula. You can see why a policy fails in a scenario, and change it.
Facts on this site link to the public reports they come from, so you can check them.
Example signals, presets and policies are marked as illustrative. They are starting points, not findings.
We hand work to sister platforms for signals, public goals, transitions, investment and data.
Every session uses the same four modules as the free tool, prepared with your context and run by an experienced facilitator. You keep the workspace file and a written report.
Anchor scanning on one real dependency, log and cluster signals together, and agree who owns the emerging risk theme.
Build a cross-impact scenario set with your experts, run your policy through it and hold a structured premortem.
Diagnose the problem and design the instrument: a sandbox charter, a deliberation protocol or a verification blueprint.
Foresight Policies is built and run by Humanity Solutions in The Hague, the team behind these sister platforms.
